Egyptian Civilisation Topic 1


Description

A study of selected pieces of Ancient Egyptian literature that reflect the historical background of specific cultural eras. Religious texts as well as the genres of poetry and narrative will be covered, with hieratic and monumental inscriptions included. The timeframe will cover the third to first millennium BC.
