Description

A presentation of the lively debates on autobiography currently under way: theorisations of the self and the writing and construction of the self; women’s autobiography; postcolonial autobiography; illustrated in a wide variety of autobiographical texts (including letters, diaries, memoirs, confessions, poetry, short stories, novels and video) from ancient and modern Europe, Asia and the Pacific.
