Policy Analysis and Evaluation

Description

Review of analytical concepts and tools required to undertake policy research. Covers approaches policy analysts use to add value to policy discussions. Also covers concepts and tools used to evaluate public policies and programmes. Students will use these concepts and methods to explore substantive topics of their choice. NB: enrolment is limited to 25 students, with selection criteria as follows: 1) admission to the Master of Public Policy; 2) Grade Point Average and previous tertiary study in a relevant discipline.
