Missiology draws on biblical, historical and theological scholarship in order to reflect critically on the interaction between the theory and praxis of mission. It uses the tools of the social sciences to identify and critique different missiological dynamics and encourages students to respect the multicultural and multi-religious reality of contemporary society.
