Special Topic: Health and Human Rights in Development Practice

Description

Human rights within the historical and geopolitical contexts of development is the focus of this course. Students will critically analyse the right to health as a theory of development. Current issues in global health and development, including the increasing role of NGOs and the non-state sector in all development work are critically analysed through a right to health lens.
