Writing Research Reports

Description

This course develops skills needed for writing research reports in a range of academic disciplines. It covers the moves and language patterns involved in writing the literature review, methodology, results and discussion sections of a research-based report, dissertation or thesis. The course has the added advantage of being of value for report writing in other subjects and for future employment. ACADENG 210 can be taken as part of a major or minor in Academic English Studies & Linguistics.

Class limits information for 2017: Summer School enrolment is limited to 30 students, Semester One enrolment is limited to 90 students, Semester Two enrolment is limited to 60 students. Admission is on a first in, first enrolled basis.
