Chinese Teaching Pedagogy
Description
Critically investigates the pedagogical-content knowledge for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages. Designed for students to develop practical pedagogical approaches to teach the following five content areas: pronunciation, characters, grammar, discourse and culture.
Students will have opportunities to explore different strategies for engaging learners in Chinese language classrooms in schools, universities and the community.
