Philosophical Writing in Antiquity


Description

A study of some influential philosophical texts from Greco-Roman antiquity with reference to circumstances of composition and ancient reception. Writers studied may include Plato, Xenophon, Aristotle, Cicero, Lucretius, Seneca, Plutarch, Sextus Empiricus and Augustine.
