Description

Our internship course gives you the chance to gain work experience through undertaking a project in a real-world workplace. It is available in the third year of your Communication major.

The course is career-oriented, and you will have the opportunity to develop and showcase a variety of transferable skills of value to the market place: critical thinking, analysis and writing, teamwork, communication and social media, data collection, translation and archival documentation.

Comms 307 is a restricted entry course. You will be assessed on the quality of your academic record, previous work experience, your CV, your academic referee and your application. You will also be interviewed before being accepted to ensure you have the level of readiness and professionalism to represent the University in an external-facing internship.

Please enrol on the "wait list" for this course in Student Services Online, as well as completing the application form below. We recommend that you enrol in a full semester's worth of courses at the same time, because you are not guaranteed entry to this course.
