Writing as Critical Discourse


Description

Explores theories of literacy and discourse in everyday, educational, academic and professional contexts through individual writing, critical workshops and peer review. Historical case studies are used to analyse rhetoric, argument and poetics in textual practices, from graffiti to essay to poem to blogs and mashups. We write for different audiences and media in different genres, including narrative, mixed media and critical essay.
