Major Problems in Historical Method


Description

A course designed to help students majoring in History engage with some of the challenges of the discipline as currently practised. Topics include: post-structuralism and history, gender and history, the nature of historical memory and the impact of non-Western perspectives on the discipline. Readings will consist primarily of articles and essays that will be distributed in a study guide.
