Structural Analysis of the Japanese Language


Description

An introduction to the linguistic analysis of the structure of Japanese, including analysis of grammatical constructions, especially the use of particles, and analysis of long sentences; an outline of phonological, morpho-phonological and semantic structure of modern Japanese; an explanation of the writing system, including types of kanji and classification by radicals. Different styles of language including formal/informal, men’s/women’s language will also be discussed.
