Description
This course is intended for those who have passed Japanese 131 or who have achieved at least 16 points in level 3 NCEA Japanese (or equivalent). A continuation of JAPANESE 131, providing more advanced grammar. As with JAPANESE 131, this course provides a range of exercises and activities to develop communicative use of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in various situations as well as strategies to enhance and support these skills. Students will be expected to prepare thoroughly for each lesson by learning new vocabulary and kanji beforehand. The prescribed textbook can be obtained from the University Bookshop. Students must attend the plenary lecture plus streamed classes.
