Advanced Japanese 1


Description

This course is a continuation of JAPANESE 232. It is designed to develop communicative use of the language in the four skills with an emphasis on reading comprehension skills, with extra reading materials of an advanced level. The prescribed textbook can be obtained from the University Bookshop. Students must attend two plenary lecture plus streamed classes.

Prerequisites

45 points at Stage II in Japanese including one of JAPANESE 230, 232 or 239

Restrictions

JAPANESE 330, 338, 339. May not be taken if a more advanced language acquisition course in this subject has previously been passed
