KOREAN 200

Intermediate Korean 1

Description

This course is a continuation of KOREAN 111 and aims to expand students’ communicative skills in modern Korean to an intermediate level. The course is designed for students to achieve this through active participation in diverse activities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, which incorporate further grammar points and vocabulary together with distinctive aspects of Korean culture. By the end of the course, successful students will be able to carry out daily life conversations with native Koreans using appropriate speech levels, to comprehend intermediate-level Korean texts and to write about their own everyday life.
