Description

Follows on from MĀORI 201. Includes recording and translating oral traditions, the semantics of selected key terms and the study of translations of the 1835 Declaration of Independence and the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi.  Also includes practical exercises in transcription and translation of selected recordings and texts, and grammatical analysis.
