Philosophy of Science 1
Description
This course will examine classic and contemporary debates in philosophy of science and philosophy of biology through the lens of the coronavirus pandemic. Topics include philosophy of microbiology, public understanding and communication of science, and the intersection of science and values. While we will engage with interdisciplinary debates spanning philosophy and science, no particular background in science or is required or expected for this course.
