Description

In this course, you will build on the knowledge and skills gained in SAMOAN 101 and 201. We will take you through more advanced conversations and study the structure and content of speeches. We will also examine in more depth the relationship between ordinary and respectful forms of speech. These relationships will be studied in the cultural contexts of weddings, funerals and matai title bestowal rituals.
