Families, Labour and Love

Description
To what extent do we create our family life from our own ideals and personal choices? How do labour market trends, new ideas, public discourse and media representations influence our decisions? We answer these questions through an analysis of research relating to finding a partner, having children, dividing household labour, getting along or breaking up. The course focuses on New Zealand and international studies.
