Chinese Specialised Translation

Description

Develops students’ competence in understanding and producing specialised texts in English and Chinese. Students will translate materials in a variety of subject areas, such as trade, tourism, science, medicine, or finance, and in different text types. Students will also be introduced to professional ethics. Emphasis is on longer texts that require the acquisition of subject knowledge and in-depth terminology research.
