The Arcuated System of Building | |
The post and lintel form of building was used to create grand and monumental forms, but the lack of uninterrupted interior space was not suitable for some purposes. To create architectural forms that could cover larger spaces without too many supports the arcuated system of building could be used. This section will examine the arcuated method of construction. | |
