Introduction
 

One could undertake the same survey of analysis as has been done for painting for many other art media which operate on a two-dimensional format, but although there would be some differences it would be very repetitive, and generally the same categories and observations would be pertinent, therefore the programme will not repeat the analysis of painting but leave you to apply those ideas to different two-dimensional media.
